For as long as I can remember, I have always loved dressing up in costume for any and all occasions possible. By age five, I had already started exhibiting my preference for becoming specific characters with Ozma of Oz, Mary Poppins was when I was ten years old, the Statue of Liberty was in there somewhere, along with Harpo Marx in highschool (complete with staying mute all day in class!), and the infamous & unemotional T’Leo of Vulcan. All these costumes were and are completely homemade, with my parents’ help when I was younger, and now by myself. Sometimes I will cobble together outfits from premade pieces, but the assembly is still my own, and scrolling all the way to the bottom of the list, you can see how far I have progressed over a lifetime of costume projects. 🙂
Listed below are thumbnail images of the costumes shown on these pages. Click on an image to go to the page where it is shown. I’m still catching up on many of these pages, so please pardon several links to nowhere for the time being!
For more recent costume projects, you can also read entries tagged Costumes. I hope you have as much fun looking at these as I had making and wearing them!
AMAZING! Where are you located?
Thanks! I live in the California Bay Area. 🙂
