Do those bags work as well with the “battery votives” as they would with real candles? I’d like to use battery votives if they will show up the bag and not be lost.

Never mind – I clicked on the individual bags and you answered my question there. Yes, they do work with battery candles.
Yes, if you click to the Etsy links, the individual glowing photos of Deck the Hall & Joy to the World are using battery flicker tealights. The 3 bags in one photo are real candles inside small votive jars, so you can see the different effects. Real candles are brighter, but battery tealights work fine and are much safer. You still need a little weight in case of a breeze, since the battery lights aren’t very heavy themselves.
